The Well Is Seeking Paid Interns: 07/15/17 Deadline

The Wellness Resource Center (The Well) is seeking interns for Fall 2017 to Spring 2018.

The deadline to submit application, resume, and cover letter is July 15.

The Well’s mission is to maximize student success by fostering a healthy campus environment. We fulfill this mission through programs, policies, and services and seek to empower the members of our community to advocate for social justice and equity among all people.

We encourage undergraduate and graduate students to apply. We have a variety of internships for various majors, including, but not limited to: social work, human services, sociology, psychology, counseling, and gender studies. We are currently recruiting for the positions of:

Peer Advocate Graduate Intern  (paid;minimum of 14 hours/week)
Peer Advocate Undergraduate Intern (paid;minimum of 14 hours/week)

These positions require: a completion a comprehensive 20-hour training regarding domestic & sexual violence; facilitating workshops; and providing in-office, on-call & appointment based advocacy coverage. Deadlines, training, and event dates available here.
