After graduating from VCU in 2007, I was accepted to The Ohio State University’s MFA program in Sculpture. Due to some paperwork issues, I deferred that acceptance and spent a year in South Korea teaching English. Between finishing that contract and reporting for classes at OSU, I had the opportunity to travel through South East Asia. During the MFA program I taught metal fabrication and intro to 3-D courses and spent a summer volunteering in the Ecuadorian Amazon. Since earning my MFA, I have been working with a high-end furniture company as well as the Columbus Museum of Art. In the past few years I have shown my work in various galleries in Ohio , Virginia, and Massachusetts.
