Since graduation, I went from being the first female to work at Reynolds Metals Styling and Design Department to running my own design business in the Washington metropolitan area. After raising a family I went back to graduate school at the Virginia graduate school of Architecture in Alexandria.
I am now an NCARB registered Architect and have my own firm in Alexandria. I have always had a love for fine arts, recently a painting of mine: “Paul on the Road to Damascus or Caravaggio reconfigured,” 1992, was selected for the Art by Architects exhibition at the Virginia Center for Architecture, 2501 Monument Avenue, Richmond, Virginia. The exhibit runs through July 7th, 2013. Michael Bednar, FAIA – Exhibit Curator.
