I'm a native of Richmond and visit often. I moved to NYC after completing my MFA at VCU. I've had many jobs as many visual artists do – but mostly I've been teaching on the undergrad and graduate level in Fine Arts – Syracuse University, Maine College of Art, Vermont College. Currently I'm an Adjunct Associate Professor in Fine Arts at Pratt Institute in New York. I teach an all-day studio intensive Drawing/Installation with a focus on Public Art and Process and Junior level painting and drawing. I manage the Fellowship and Artist Residency programs (Ox-Bow, Skowhegan and Yale-Norfolk) for our BFA and MFA students. My studio is in the South Street Seaport area of Lower Manhattan and i'm busy with current and upcoming public projects.
