After graduating in 2007, Kari Rinn moved to Chicago and served as Gallery Coordinator for Pistachios fine craft. She remains on at the gallery as special events coordinator but relocated to Asheville, NC in 2010. Kari moved to the beautiful mountain town to work with HandMade in America as Director of Craft Entrepreneurship. In 2012 she was chosen to Direct the Creative Arts program at Haywood Community College. HCC completed construction of a $10 million creative arts facility in 2013. The college offers degree programs as well as community education courses and workshops in over 40,000 sq. ft. of professionally equipped studios and gallery space.
