Jerome (Jerry) Williams

Jerry put his directing degree to use within a year of graduating, but not in theatre. He got a job producing videos for Heilig-Meyers and his new career as in videos began. After 7 years there & another decade producing video for Richmond Public Schools, Jerry became self-employed in 1989. His brand (TVJerry) has become well-known in the area, as he continues to create projects for a variety of corporate and government clients.

Meanwhile, he launched a website in 1998 (yes, that long ago) and called it “Tales from the Grips,” featuring news & dirt of Richmond’s production community. In 2013, he re-booted to include SIFTER, a cultural guide to Richmond, where he reviews movies & theatre (back where he started).
