I have recently curated ‘The Gifts of Tony Podesta’ at the Katzen Museum in Washington, D.C. This first major exhibition drawn from the Corcoran Legacy Collection features strong and provocative photography and sculpture donated by Tony Podesta over the past decade to the Corcoran Gallery of Art, now part of the American University Museum’s holdings. Jennifer Sakai is a fine art Photographer, Curator, and Professor of Photography that resides in the Washington D.C. area. She received her BFA at the Art Institute of Boston at Lesley University in Boston Massachusetts, and her MFA in photography from Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond Virginia.
