I got the VCUarts Studio 2011 mag in the mail today … it brought back good memories of seeing Mrs. Sandy Wilkins who I was fortunate to have as instructor for a few classes at VCU. And the wonderful Kim Gunthrie who I also saw in a photo. I had lots of fun in the fashion department and made many good friends while at VCU. Since my days at VCU, I have become an educator in the field of art teaching Pre K to 8th grade art in Baltimore City’s Public School System until 2010. I also was an adjuct fashion illustration instructor while teaching elementary charter school at Baltimore City Community College Inner Harbor Campus. I am currently instructing at the Carroll Art Center in Carroll County Maryland and creating my own artwork. I am still creating fashion as well and constantly working on different forms of art. I have recently been approved to create an arts community co-op in Carroll County to be housed in the ShalomCenter in Westminster. I have big plans for the future, God willing. Please feel free to check artwork and fashion on my page and photo section Charles Cooper. Hope all of you are well and creating!
