During her time at VCU Allison Fiebert worked as an intern at Page Bond Gallery, a commercial fine art gallery in the Fan District of Richmond, Virginia. Afterward, she continued on to become the associate director for the gallery in which she stayed for five years. Her time at the gallery included working closely with both private and corporate collections including Capital One and Dominion VA Power. Additionally, during that time she taught adult photography classes at the Visual Arts Center of VA. It was here that she became interested the field of arts education.

In 2009 she began teaching photography part-time at Trinity Episcopal School and was brought on as a full-time arts faculty member the following year.
