Richmond’s Style Weekly Magazine recognizes the young leaders who are transforming Richmond in their Top 40 Under 40 annual issue. Some of the leaders recognized are, Bizhan Khodabandeh, VCUarts graphic design instructor and alumnus, whose “I Dream of a Richmond” campaign prompted Richmond residents to envision the city that they’d like to see.
Lucas Krost, VCUarts alumni and owner of Branching Films, widely known for his film, “Feels Like Drowning,” which was screened at last year’s Cannes Film Festival.
Casey Longyear (shown here), a VCU Fashion Design alumna and co-owner of Rumors Boutique, a local thrift-style boutique store with a hip mix of youthful clothes by designers from around the world.
John O’Neill, a VCU adjunct professor hired to teach sophomore courses in design, he is also founding president of Thinkhaus Design is admired for his specialization in serving the nonprofit and green building industries.
