Speed Collaborating at the Depot Gallery!

The Depot Gallery is holding its second Speed Collaborating event for students!

Have you ever wanted to collaborate with someone in Kinetic Imaging or Photography/Film but not know how to meet someone to work with? Did you ever have an amazing idea that you could make happen if only you knew someone who works in glass? Are you a graphic designer with big ideas who wants to work with a sculptor to make them happen?

Speed Collaborating is the answer to your problems!

Any interested students can sign up to participate in this exciting new event. You will meet tons of new people and find like-minded artists with different talents with whom to collaborate and create exciting interdisciplinary work.

All you need to do is bring some photos of your work (on your phone is okay) and some ideas for future projects to discuss with your potential collaborators. You’ll be paired up with other students looking to collaborate and if you make a mutual connection, the gallery will match you up and help get you working on your new project!

To sign up, send your name, year, and VCU department affiliation to depotgallery@vcu.edu by Thursday, October 13 at noon!
