In addition to these cross-disciplinary courses, we’ve got some great course options for those of you that want to get out and stretch your creative-thinking brains.

Art and Medicine
The daVinci Center has partnered with ALTlab to create a new Social Innovation Class to be Offered this Fall!

Are you interested in addressing large scale societal problems?
Do you like working collaboratively with peers from other disciplines?
Are you eager to apply systems-thinking in generating non-traditional solutions?

If so, you may be interested in VCU’s new Social Innovation course being offered this Fall! Students who enroll will work in teams to tackle real-world societal problems, proposed by community partners. Pre-requisites include junior standing and UNIV 200 or HONR 200. If you’d like to learn more, please attend an information session on Monday, April 4th at 11am or Friday, April 15th at 5pm, held at the da Vinci Center (807 S. Cathedral Place).
