VCU Student Commons Theater

Forrest Nash holds a BFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, and founded Contemporary Art Daily in his last year there in 2008. They became a non-profit organization at the beginning of 2012, which was also the beginning of these projects as Forrest’s full time job. He serves on the board and acquisitions committee of the Society for Contemporary Art, an organization that purchases contemporary art for the Art Institute of Chicago, and he has lectured internationally.

This visit is co-sponsored by the VCU departments of Craft/Material Studies, Kinetic Imaging, Photography and Film, Painting & Printmaking, and Sculpture + Extended Media, and the VCUarts Dean’s Office and the VCUarts Pollak Society.
