Mariana Parisca

Through phenomenological practices, material experiments, and contemporary images, I resist certain neoliberal modes of attention, presentation, performativity, and work. The fragility of both being and the material world defies the anonymous technological approach used to identify value. Where does desire lie in consumerism and misogyny? I share the artifacts and residue of my embodied experience. Material is substance, the body is mine, and the rest is lost.
