Painting + Printmaking hosts a range of public programs including lectures and exhibitions. Each year, the department hosts 6-8 lectures by artists, curators, and critics that are often organized in partnership with other departments at VCUarts or the ICA. These visitors also work with students through studio visits, workshops, or class visits. In addition, Painting + Printmaking hosts exhibitions for graduate and undergraduate students and the Fountainhead Fellowship.
