Lots of press for Vitiello’s MoMA installation

Professor Vitiello’s installation at New York’s Museum of Modern Art opened on August 10 and it’s getting a lot of attention. According to the New York Times, our  “American soundster’s” sonic installation in the sculpture garden is “charming.” The Wall Street Journal details the acclaimed 2010 work, “A Bell For Every Minute” made in, by and for Vitiello’s own hometown.

2013 VMFA fellowship recipients were announced yesterday and Kinetic Imaging once again makes a strong showing.  Visiting animator Polina Grinberg scooped a professional award, and Charli Brissey and Kimberly Barnes each grabbed an award in the graduate and undergrad categories respectively.  Congratulations, ladies!
