Althea Georgelas is a nomadic media artist who works with sound, video, motion collage, photos, words and paint. She lives in and about the Washington, DC area. Her focus tends to be highly personal works that sometime seek to give volume to the marginalized voice. Often she targets fundamentalist hysteria as it trickles down in to the daily lives of people. She currently freelances as a TV production slave, audio and documentary film editor. Periodically she can be spotted in the collective band Pilottone. Happy day!
