Kinetic Imaging Professor Stephen Vitiello has a full September ahead! First up, Vitiello will be performing at the Fridman Gallery in New York on September 17 as part of its 9 Evenings + 50 event series, which represents three generations of composers and performers. The series recognizes and celebrates the 50th anniversary of 9 Evenings: Theatre & Engineering – the music, dance and theater performances held in October 1966 at the 69th Regiment Armory on Lexington Avenue and 25th Street in New York City. Vitiello’s performance will be performed alongside Yasunao Tone and Paula Matthusen.

To close out the month and kick off October, his installation, “A Scuttering Across The Leaves (Hoppers Mix),” created with Kasey Fowler-Finn, Ph.D., assistant professor at St. Louis University, will be included in the Beijing Media Art Biennial, from September 24-October 30.
