Abbie in the IDES Model Shop

Model Shop

The Model Shop for the Interior Design program is  located within the Pollak Building on the same floor as the department. The shop contains a wide range of tools to supplement model building, including sanding belts, drill presses, chop saws, and a laser cutter.

Hand tools are available for check-out and students are encouraged to collaborate and learn from one another while working in the shop.

The Model Shop is staffed by students throughout the week to aid in construction and ensure that safe practices are employed.
