The VCU Department of Theatre is hosting their first in-person Improv shows since before the pandemic!!!! Thursday December 2nd and Friday December 3rd at 7:00pm, come join us for two rowdy nights of laughter and fun! Tickets are $5 for each night (and free for Theatre department students!)
Two of our VCU teams will perform each night — “Black Brown n’ Honey” and “Running AMok” will perform on Thursday December 2nd @ 7:00pm, and “Wait did They Just Kiss?” and “Toxic Shock” will perform on Friday @ 7:00pm.
Thursday December 2nd @ 7:00pm
- Black Brown n Honey is VCU’s newest team! An amazingly funny improv team “for brown people by brown people,” led by current student Kiki Dowell! @blackbrownnhoney
- Running AMok is VCU’s longest running improv team at VCU with a ride or die passion for comedy, improv, and being part of VCU’s comedy family. They specialize in character driven narrative long form with the quick pacing of short term comedy. @runningamokimprov
Friday December 3rd @ 7:00pm
- Wait Did They Just Kiss? is a larger team of 10 members that loves harder than most and supports each other to no end, while focusing on a mix of long-form and short-form comedy. @waitdidtheyjustkiss
- Toxic Shock is a group of women and non-binary, non-gender conforming people that are fearless and unapologetic with their comedy. @toxic_shock_improv

Performances will take place in the W.E. Singleton Center for the Performing Arts located at 922 Park Ave. Masks will be required for all audience members. No food or drink allowed. Doors open at 6:30pm.
Parking: There is a paid parking deck located at Harrison and Broad. You can also use public street parking which follows Richmond City regulations.
