Assuming that you have to work on your search all on your own is a common rookie job search mistake. The reality is that finding internships and jobs often involves meeting new people and having them assist you with your search. This session will cover the power of networking and different strategies on how to do it — it’s not just attending conferences and cocktail parties. By the end of the session you’ll have a list of 8+ people you can reach out to as well as a draft inquiry and follow-up emails that you can send to start your networking. Workshop will be virtual and hosted on Zoom.
Open to arts majors and alumni from the class of 2021. Dress code is casual.

The series will address common questions about searching for opportunities post-graduation. Each interactive workshop will include a mini lecture and time in the session for you to work on action steps that will help progress your search.
