Exhibition Statement
Unfolding in an exhibition and series of events from February 1st to 26th on the top floors of The Anderson, Black Fidelity is a project from VCU Black student organizations that features artworks underscoring themes of Afrorealism and Afrofuturism. The Black Fidelity mission is dedicated to reclaiming agency over the story told by white power, reforming public perceptions of difference, and representing the past and future realities of Black identity through different art mediums. This includes but is not limited to photography, graphic design, film, visual art, performing arts, and more.
