VCUarts The Anderson and the Art Foundation Program (AFO) are excited to present Spukhaus 2020: Wormhole. This annual project consists of collaborative exhibitions from ten AFO classes on view at The Anderson for a limited duration around Halloween.

In an effort to provide a safe opening event for attendees and all those involved, this year’s Spukhaus will take place as a guided tour experience. Guided tours will take place at The Anderson from 6–10pm on Friday, October 30th. (Tours scheduled for Thursday, October 29th were cancelled due to Tropical Cyclone Zeta.)

Spukhaus tours of five people per group will be led by AFO students through The Anderson building every ten minutes. Tour attendance is first-come, first-served. Attendees must sign up for a tour time slot at the front entrance of The Anderson. We appreciate your assistance in keeping this area clear after you have signed up for a time slot.

Please be prepared to sign up for a future time slot and return to the area outside the building a few minutes before the tour time that you secured is scheduled to begin. Tour start times may be delayed by a few minutes, so please be patient while you wait outside for your time slot to be called. When waiting outside, please use the demarcations on the ground to ensure you are following appropriate physical distancing measures.

Guided tours will begin at the front entrance, travel to the third and fourth floors of the building, and then exit out the back of the building. The tour route will require attendees to pass through a few narrow, dark spaces. Please note that The Anderson is not handicap accessible. Masks are required indoors and outdoors and physical distancing is required when possible.
