Linda Pasquarell is the music education program assistant for Music. She is a former middle school band director and elementary general music teacher for the Canton, N.Y., public school system. She more recently lived in Roanoke, Va., where she formed her own private studio, Gooseneck Studio. There she taught keyboard, winds, and beginning strings to a range of students. While in Roanoke she helped create the Winds of Blue Ridge, a selective performing group, in which she performed and served on the board for eight years. Pasquarell has played the alto saxophone since the age of 10 and is an active alto and soprano saxophone performer. She has served as a featured clinician and performer at the Southern Saxophone Retreat in North Carolina and performed at the 2016 U.S. Navy International Saxophone Symposium. She also performs with church and community ensembles and serves as a soloist for various high school ensembles. Pasquarell earned her MA in education from West Virginia Graduate College, and a BME from the State University of New York at Fredonia.
