Jason Hackett is assistant professor and studio manager in Craft/Material Studies. He has served as an apprentice and studio manager for artist Jun Kaneko, education studios manager at Pewabic Pottery, and a resident artist at Marywood University. His artwork has been exhibited internationally at IX International Biennale of Ceramic Art in Portugal, and in Romania at Galateea Gallery, and has been on view at Betz Gallery in conjunction with the National Council on Education for the Ceramic Arts conference. Hackett has also received a VMFA Fellowship rewarding his creative research. He received his MFA in fine arts from VCUarts.
