Jacob Todd Broussard is an artist, writer, and educator. Operating between various mediums, his work investigates landscape, fantasy, and folkloric narrative to explore perceptions of representation. Jacob earned his BFA from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in 2014 and his MFA in Painting from Yale University School of Art in 2019. He has participated in many artist residencies, including The Vermont Studio Center, The Atlantic Center for the Arts Residency, and The Art Students League at Vyt. His work has appeared in Burnaway and New American Paintings. He has exhibited works in New York, Connecticut, Massachusetts, and Louisiana. He and his collaborator/partner operate an independent project space in Buffalo, NY, Kingfish which speculates on the intersections of architecture, domestic space, and art.
