Charles Bleick

Charles Bleick is an Associate Professor Emeritus. He has served as associate dean for academic affairs at VCUarts Qatar, chair of the VCU Department of Art Education, interim director of the Anderson Gallery and director of the Art Foundation program. His doctoral research focused on the training of docents in art museums. He has authored educational materials for the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts, curated the VMFA Artmobile exhibition titled “Expressions: The Human Face in Art,” and is the recipient of a VCU Service Award. Bleick earned his Ph.D in university teaching from the University of North Texas.
