Kinetic Imaging Adjunct Professor, Steve Ashby currently has sound work featured in the large-scale sound exhibition Audiosphere. Sound Experimentation 1980-2020, hosted by the Reina Sofía Museum in Madrid, Spain. This collection of hundreds of sound pieces aims to cover a cultural and historical void for the artistic creation of sound conception. The show focuses on seven sections, addressing different social, technological, historical, and cultural processes: genealogies, networks, mega accessibility, cyborgisation, aesthetogenesis, recombination, and rights. Audiosphere is on view from October 14, 2020–January 11, 2021.
