Karly Andersen is a senior in the Communication Arts Department, studying illustration and concept design. She appreciates the diversity of students, outstanding professors, and open learning environment, which provides students real world experiences. After completing her studies, she looks forward to working as a freelance artist. Karly has enjoyed working with the department to craft her career plans of working in concept art, character design, and editorial illustration. A great piece of advice she offers is to “avoid all-nighters and give your body the proper rest it deserves. Give your work your all, and communicate with everyone and anyone.”
