The Senior Capstone Exhibitions are an annual celebration of VCUarts incredible undergraduate studio arts majors. Spread out across two rounds, and occupying up to three floors, the capstone exhibitions feature challenging, diverse, and experimental programming reflecting VCUarts status as one of the leading studio art programs in the country.
Capstone Round #1:
March 16 – March 21
- Department of Craft + Material Studies (Floor 1; Galleries A & B)
- Department of Sculpture + Extended Media (Floor 2; Galleries D, E, F)
- Department of Kinetic Imaging, (Foyer, Galleries C, Mezzanine 1 & 2, Floor 3; Sponge & G)
Opening Reception: March 16, 5-8pm
Capstone Round #2:
March 25 – March 30
- Department of Photography + Film (Floor 1; Galleries A, B, C, Floor 3; Gallery G)
- Department of Painting + Printmaking (Floor 2; Galleries D, E, F, Mezzanine 1, Floor 3; Sponge)
- Department of Kinetic Imaging, (Foyer, Mezzanine 2, Floor 3; Gallery H & Hidden Gallery)
Opening Reception: March 25, 5-8pm
Special Capstone Hours: Monday – Friday 12–6pm, Saturday & Sunday 12–5pm
