Professor Orla McHardy currently has new work on view through aemi online. aemi online has established an online exhibition space featuring work by Irish and Ireland-based artists. McHardy’s video piece, “Goodnight”, will be on view on aemi online until January 2021, as all work displayed on the site is only viewable for a limited period of time. “Goodnight” encourages mindfulness in the viewer at a time when many are feeling overwhelmed by reality, using the color blue to both calm and inundate the viewer; to symbolize present and future; stagnation and growth.
