JM Tyree named Associate Director of VCUarts Cinema

We are so pleased to announce that beloved faculty member  and established thought leader JM Tyree has been named Associate Director of VCUarts Cinema.

His recent work includes:

“The Drowned Forest of Erith,” on walking in London, in Brick 101 (Summer 2018)

“Timewashing,” on Netflix’s Stranger Things, in Witness (Black Mountain Institute/UNLV, Vol XXXI, No. 2, Summer 2018)

“Anti-Psycho-Logical,” on Lynne Ramsay’s You Were Never Really Here, inBennington Review (Bennington College, Issue Six, Fall 2018)

Professor JM Tyree has also served as the Nonfiction Editor, New England Review and the Contributing Editor, Film Quarterly.
