Get creative to tackle health, education and poverty

The future is in your hands. As VCUarts students, you have the creative power and innovative spirit to change the world. And at VCU’s 2nd Annual Innovation Challenges event, you’re invited to submit your answers to today’s questions.

How can new and emerging technology improve healthcare? What does a better digital messaging platform look like for student organizations? How can digital and financial literacy address poverty?

Students of all levels are encouraged to submit their ideas throughout the entire month of September. The challenges run through October 6th, 2019, and winning submissions in each category (Healthcare, Higher Education, and Poverty) will receive funding, mentorship, and guaranteed acceptance into VCU’s pre-accelerator program at the da Vinci Center (Spring 2020).

Visit go.vcu.edu/innovationchallenges to submit or contact steenburghbk@vcu.edu for more information.

You can also meet other interested students at design jams available over the coming weeks. Design jams are facilitated by either a da Vinci Center staff or graduate student, where you can brainstorming your ideas in an open forum.
