FRIITZ: A Musical Narrative by Jared Duesterhaus

FRIITZ: A Musical Narrative by Jared Duesterhaus, 8pm on July 24

The Anderson presents FRIITZ, a performance by Jared Duesterhaus, via Zoom at 8pm on Friday, July 24. FRIITZ is a musical narrative created by VCUarts Kinetic Imaging MFA 2020 alumnus Jared Duesterhaus.

Arranged for two pianos, the narrative’s three acts trace the days leading up to the death of Sophie Friitz, the main character of the fictional work. The narrative explores the subject of internal narratives and how one projects those narratives outwardly.
