Bog Pilgrim is a multi-disciplinary project which explores peat bogs as a potential site for spiritual time travel, preservation, and a feminine immortality. There is a vain human desire within me that craves a record of Anthropocene life in the face of climate apocalypse: I suspect that I am driven by the same motivation that made Paleolithic humans press their pigmented hands against cave walls: “We were here.”
