The Anderson is pleased to present Because, you see, this feeling of alive is not so easy to experience, an exhibition from effie bowen, Sculpture + Extended Media MFA candidate and recipient of the Alice Cabell Horsley Parker Scholarship and Spring 2022 Anderson Publishing Grant.

ARTIST STATEMENT

Because, you see, this feeling… is a durational exhibition which traces the intrinsic relationship between place, time, and the sensations at the juncture of endings. Utilizing images, objects, and color to mark an immersive zone of experience, the installation will morph through the course of the exhibition, unsettling a singular finality. Opening scenes will unfold from 5–8pm Friday, September 30 and continue through October 14, 2022.
