Craft Consciousness: Craft/Material Studies 2021 Undergraduate Juried Exhibition

Calling all Craft/Material students, this one’s for you!

Craft Consciousness is an exciting opportunity for majors and minors of the Craft/Material Studies department to showcase their best explorations into materiality at The Anderson, March 3–13. Submissions will be accepted electronically at until February 13, with final decisions made by departmental faculty representing each of the department’s five areas. Applicants will be notified of whether their piece/s are selected by February 27th. 

The exhibition is open to all Craft/Material Studies disciplines: clay, fiber, glass, metal, wood – and students may submit work produced within the last two years (but are encouraged to submit new or recent pieces!).

In your submission email, please include:

  • Preferred name + pronouns
  • Grade + major/minor status
  • Title, date, dimensions, and medium of each submission
  • A brief description of/statement about the work being submitted

Please send images as jpeg files not exceeding 800 pixels in the longest dimension.
