Calling all Craft/Material students, this one’s for you!
Craft Consciousness is an exciting opportunity for majors and minors of the Craft/Material Studies department to showcase their best explorations into materiality at The Anderson, March 3–13. Submissions will be accepted electronically at vcucraftshow2021@gmail.com until February 13, with final decisions made by departmental faculty representing each of the department’s five areas. Applicants will be notified of whether their piece/s are selected by February 27th.
The exhibition is open to all Craft/Material Studies disciplines: clay, fiber, glass, metal, wood – and students may submit work produced within the last two years (but are encouraged to submit new or recent pieces!).
In your submission email, please include:
- Preferred name + pronouns
- Grade + major/minor status
- Title, date, dimensions, and medium of each submission
- A brief description of/statement about the work being submitted
Please send images as jpeg files not exceeding 800 pixels in the longest dimension.
