Dakota Summer Becker (BFA ’18) had the exhibition Spectrum at Iridian Gallery.

Prof. Hope Ginsburg had the exhibition Meditation Ocean at the Wexner Center for the Arts in Ohio.

Amina Coleman-Davis (BFA ’22) had the solo show Soft Spot on view at Alchemy Coffee.

Grayson Cassels (BFA ’22) had the exhibition Spectral Figures at the Material Room.

MFA student Grace Bromley curated a booth at the Spring Break Art Show at Skylight in Culver City, Los Angeles and MFA student Giancarlo Venturini had work on view.

Kristen Sanders (MFA ’16) had work on display at Good Mother Gallery.

Loie Hollowell (MFA ’12) co-curated the exhibition Love Letter at Pace Gallery in NYC. 

John Hee Taek Chae (MFA ’20) had the solo exhibition Shed Your Eyes opening at MARCH Gallery in NYC.

Prof. Monsieur Zohore had the exhibition MZ.25: My Condolences on view at M+B in LA.

Prof. Noah Simblist wrote for Art in America about the exhibition A Movement in Every Direction at the Baltimore Museum of Art which included work by Torkwase Dyson (BFA ’99).

The collaborative exhibition The Dis/Embodied Familiar had work from many PAPR students and alumni held at Studio Jamora.

Congratulations to Eleanor Thorp (MFA ’22) who received the VMFA professional fellowship and Nadia Msalek who was awarded the VMFA undergraduate fellowship. We are so proud of their accomplishments.

LaRissa Rogers (BFA ’19) is a participating artist in TERRITORIAL: The Land and Us at Stove Works which is on view until June 16.

John Hee Taek Chae’s (MFA ’20) exhibition Shed Your Eyes was selected by Artfourm as a MUST SEE.

Lukaza Branfman-Verissimo (MFA ’22) had an artist talk & workshop called “these- are-our-tools-forms-of-connectivity”in conjunction with their solo show, Rituals Here.

Prof. Monsieur Zohore had a conversation with performance artist Claude Wampler in The Brooklyn Rail about his recent exhibition MZ.25 (My Condolences) at M+B Almont.

Post Masters Fellow Katerina Muromtseva had work in Dystopia – Transition from Memory at Art Front Gallery in Tokyo.

From March 3-April 8, 2023, 1708 Gallery hosted The Sadza Series which featured an exhibition of artwork including work from PAPR Grads Ali Kaeini, Natalia Mejia and Postmasters Fellow Eleanor Thorp. The exhibition is hosted by MFA students Nyasha Chigama in Craft and Tendai Mupita in Sculpture. The Sadza Series is a community-wide celebration of Zimbabwean food traditions and contemporary art. 

Luis Vasquez La Roche (MFA ’20) was in a research residence for the 4th edition of the FIAP Martinique.

MFA student Alexis Mabry had work featured in the group show Drop-In, a group show at M+B Doheny.

Damien Ding (MFA ’21) was interviewed by Maria Owen for Whitewall for his exhibition Private Paintings at Denny Gallery in New York.

BFA alum Caroline Sagebiel designed Birdie’s new cocktail menu!
