Hannah Bates (MFA ’19) presented a solo exhibition, Among, at Waterloo Arts Gallery in Cleveland, March 4 – April 23.

Prof. Hillary Waters Fayle (MFA ’15) was interviewed for a feature in Colossal.

Nastassja Swift (BFA ’15) is the recipient of a VMFA professional fellowship.

Prof. Bohyun Yoon is the recipient of a VMFA professional fellowship.

MFA student Abi Ogle is the recipient of a VMFA graduate fellowship.

Megan Biddle (MFA ’05) showed in the group exhibition Obsolete at the National Museum in Berlin.

Prof. Vivian Chiu presented a lecture at the Visiting Artist Colloquium at UW-Madison.

Prof. Susie Ganch was interviewed for the article “New Jewelry From Old” in the New York Times, in which she talks about Radical Jewelry Makeover, a project co-directed by Profs. Ganch and Kathleen Kennedy.

Prof. Blair Clemo presented a solo exhibition, Collapse – and other Softening Gestures, at the Workhouse Art Center in Lorton, VA.

Magdolene Dykstra (MFA ’18) shared her process of working with raw clay and mixed pigments in a video for the Canadian Clay & Glass Gallery in conjunction with the group exhibition Disruption.

Emily Lamb (BFA ’17) was a guest artist at Valkarie Gallery in Denver, CO for the month of April.

Nastassja Swift (BFA ’15) designed custom Crocs for Questlove to wear to the Oscars.

Marley White (BFA ’20) presented the solo exhibition I Swept Before You Came at Le Clignoteur in Brussels as a part of Brussels Jewellry Week.

Claire Anderson’s (BFA ’18) jewelry was featured in the group exhibition Mad For Hoops at Gallery 2052 in Chicago.

BFA minor Anya McKee presented the solo exhibition assorted flavors at Studio Two Three.

Sayaka Suzuki’s (MFA ’05) work was featured in Mira, Miru, the annual resident exhibition at VisArts in Richmond.

Kazue Taguchi‘s (MFA ’07) solo exhibition Night Drift opened April 22 at mh PROJECT nyc.

April Dauscha‘s (MFA ’12) image “Communion” is featured in the April issue of Vogue Portugal.

Shana Cave (Minor, ’20) is featured in the spring ’22 issue of Ink Magazine. The feature was co-created by BFA major Hope Ollivant.

Prof. Hillary Waters Fayle (MFA ’15) presented the solo exhibition State of Bliss at Quirk Gallery in Charlottesville.

BFA majors Mia Donalson and Kristen Wheatley are 2022 Schooner Foundation Scholarship recipients.

Fumi Amano (MFA ’17) was commissioned by Meta Open Arts to create a glass installation at their office in Bellevue, WA.

Chelsea Lee (MFA ’17) is featured in the Summer Spotlight series at Alma’s RVA, a gallery space run by alum Sarah Mizer (MFA ‘07).
