The Anderson and VCUarts are excited to announce the 2021 VCUarts Undergraduate Juried Exhibition, November 11 – December 9, juried by Jennie Goldstein (Whitney Museum of American Art, NYC).
The Undergraduate Juried Exhibition is open to undergraduate students from all VCUarts Departments, working in any media or discipline – or combination thereof! This year’s Fall “UJE” will feature the artwork of 36 students that thoughtfully engage important aesthetic, social, formal and critical issues in their practice.
About the Juror:
Jennie Goldstein is an Assistant Curator at the Whitney Museum of American Art. Most recently she co-curated Making Knowing: Craft in Art, 1950–2019, which is on view until February 2022. Other exhibitions include Christine Sun Kim: Too Much Future (2018) and An Incomplete History of Protest: Selections from the Whitney Museum, 1940 – 2017 (2017-2018).
