We are so pleased to announce to be joined by Dr. Morgan Meis for our Cinematheque marathon screening of Kieślowski’s Dekalog.
Morgan Meis is a contributor at The New Yorker. He has a PhD in Philosophy and has written for n+1, The Believer, Harper’s Magazine, Slate, and The Virginia Quarterly Review. He won the Whiting Award in 2013. Morgan is also an editor at 3 Quarks Daily and at The Easel and is a winner of a Creative Capital | Warhol Foundation Arts Writers grant. A book of Morgan’s selected essays can be found here. He currently teaches art history and philosophy of art at Detroit’s College for Creative Studies.
