Janpim Wolf, BFA Alumni 2011 Teaching in Thailand

VCU Art Education is proud to claim a talented and diverse group of graduates who can be found in a variety of art related careers.  Some find homes in museum education, early childhood education, or visual arts non-profits. Others seek less traditional placements such as teaching on reservations or in international settings. Our graduates routinely pursue additional scholarly opportunities such as a Masters’ or PhD in Arts Education.  Many remain in the region, working in public and private K-12 schools while advancing their own teaching practice and research, securing grants and exhibiting personal artwork.  They actively advance arts education through positions of leadership and advocacy.  Several former students have received accolades at the regional and national levels.   Our local alumni network is an especially vibrant and skilled group who graciously mentor our students providing foundational experiences crucial to their pre-serve training.
