I wanted to be a writer but so far that hasn’t worked out. Painting was easier, but I wasn’t very good at that either. I discovered I had a certain facility for sculpture while I was matriculating in Painting at VCU. I went with that once I graduated and exhibited solo for many years. I started a collaboration with my partner Paloma Muñoz in 1993. Our current work is a combination of sets and snowglobes which I make and large photos of those small objects which Paloma executes.
