I moved to NYC in 2005 to work as a studio technician at UrbanGlass in Brooklyn. I lived in the city for almost 5 years, working as a studio tech, independent artist/ fabricator, and glass casting instructor. I was also one of the first artists to be awarded a residency at the Museum of Arts and Design at Columbus Circle in Manhattan. In 2008, I received grants from both the New York Foundation for the Arts and the Brooklyn Arts Council, totaling close to $10,000.
I moved to Alfred, NY in July of 2009 and am currently pursuing my MFA in Sculpture/Glass.
