Paul DiPasquale is best known for The Arthur Ashe Monument on Richmond Virginia’s historic Monument Avenue and most recently for his 34 ft bronze sculpture of Neptune on the beach at Virginia Beach. Twice he was a visiting artist at the American Academy in Rome. In recent years, he has taken up casting smaller figurative and sculpture in glass. His public art website is www.publicsculpture.info
The sculpture “Connecticut”, the Brave at Richmond’s Diamond for 25 years, has been moved to the James River and will be unveiled on Nov. 6, 2010.
