Linné Garrett

Garrett’s career began in publishing design where she worked early on as an AD for a popular monthly city magazine. In turn, this opened the door to working for other notable publications such as Science News and The Smithsonian Institute, through which some of her photography works were also published. Over the years, she has acuminated her strategic visionary and aesthetic talents to deliver meticulously crafted and effective design solutions for a diversified client base through her creative roles at design studios, ad agencies, corporations, and likewise on her own with 829 Design. Having Philip B. Meggs as her teacher and beloved mentor set the course for her career at VCU.
