After graduating, I moved to New York City to work at The Juilliard School, building and designing props for the theatre and dance departments. I have since worked in costumes for theatre, dance and film. I have worked On and Off-Broadway, in various costume shops with clients such as The Blue Man Group and celebrity blogger Perez Hilton. I was named a semi-finalist in Charleston Fashion Week’s Emerging Designer Competition in March 2011. I showed a runway collection of half menswear and half womenswear, inspired by World War II era gender themes. I was recently the Wardrobe Supervisor on the NY filming of the feature film BETWEEN US, starring Julia Stiles and Taye Diggs, scheduled for release in 2012. I am currently costume designing the third feature from Indie Director, R. Alverson, called THE COMEDY, starring Tim and Eric, of TIM AND ERIC AWESOME SHOW, GREAT JOB! on Comedy Central. I am scheduled to design R. Alverson’s fourth feature, a period film set in rural Virginia, the filming of which has yet to be determined. I also hope to be back on a runway very soon!
