After graduation I moved to Houston for a one-year artist residency and participated in the landmark exhibition “Hand+Made” at the Contemporary Arts Museum Houston. From 2009 – 2010 I published my writing in Metalsmith, American Craft, and FiberArts Magazines, including two cover articles. Additionally, I wrote numerous catalog essays and was a contributor to Art Jewelry Forum. Since graduating I have been a visiting artist at Miami University, Savannah College of Art and Design, and Pacific Northwest College of Art. In 2010 I was a presenter at the Society of North American Goldsmiths conference as well as the artist-in-residence at Savannah College of Art and Design. I will have my first solo exhibition of artistic work in the spring of 2011. And currently I am collaborating with music composer Michael Remson on an interactive museum exhibition that opens in late 2011.
