Emigrating from Vietnam, Duy Nguyen was raised in Northern Virginia. He received degrees in Cinema and Philosophy with a minor in Creative Advertising from VCU. He currently lives in Los Angeles and works as an editor for Myspace, as well as Mondial. A photographer, filmmaker and musician, Nguyen runs the online magazine www.thegoodonesmag.com, which he founded in 2011.
His photographs and videos has been featured in The Source, Complex, XXL, Need Supply Co. and more. He has been fortunate to work with and photograph the likes of Raekwon the Chef, Jeff Staple, Nickelus F, Lee Major of the Inkredibles, J. Cole, Wiz Khalifa, Thrice, Wilco, New Found Glory, Chris Brown and among many more.
