I work in Kalamazoo, Michigan. My undergraduate degree is in Craft/Material Studies with a jewelry focus from VCU, in Richmond, where I grew up. In 1998 I moved to North Carolina to study with Robert Ebendorf and received my graduate degree in Metal Design from East Carolina University. The results of my studio practice vary in media, scale and implementation – ranging from small-scale wearable pieces to large sculptural installations and now large drawings, presented for the first time in the exhibition Covet at Sienna Gallery in 2012. My work can be found in the permanent collection of The Museum of Fine Arts – Houston, and numerous private collections.
